Community Pharmacy Innovation in Quality Awards
The CPIQ Awards recognize high performance for a pioneering individual practitioner and an innovative community pharmacy practice that result in improvements in quality of care, medication optimization and patient outcomes. Presented by PQA, the awards are supported by funding from the Community Pharmacy Foundation.
There are two award categories:
  • Individual: Recognizes an individual whose pioneering contributions to community pharmacy practice demonstrate improved patient outcomes through quality of care and medication optimization.
  • Pharmacy: Recognizes a community pharmacy, which in collaboration with external partners, has developed innovative programs resulting in improved quality of care, medication optimization, and patient outcomes.
Call for Annual Meeting
Poster Abstracts
PQA invites poster abstract submissions for the 2019 PQA Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, from May 15-17.
PQA’s poster session provides an opportunity for authors to highlight their efforts in quality improvement and research and for attendees to engage in insightful dialogue about the healthcare quality landscape.
All accepted abstracts of original work will be published online in the journal Research in Social and Administrative Pharmacy. Select abstract authors will be invited to give a podium presentation during the Annual Meeting.
The final deadline for both of these opportunities is
Wednesday, January 16.
