CPF FUNDED GRANT DETAILS

The objective of this program is to establish a weight loss and exercise program for the prevention and management of co-morbid diseases of obesity, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Through this program of weight reduction, it is anticipated that overall health of patients will improve as noted in measurable outcomes such as increased exercise capacity and mobility, body fat percentatge, blood pressure, and blood glucose levels. A secondary objective of this program is to document the benefits of weight loss and market these outcomes to employers and third party payers.
