Objectives
The project focuses on the provision of self-care medication counseling service to community pharmacy patients, while also utilizing the interaction opportunity as a platforom to educate them on the role of pharmacists in self care medication selection. The project intends to examine the impact of self-care medication consulation provided to patients, and on patients perception of pharmacists as OTCHerbal experts in the community pharmacy setting. Patients satisfaction of rendered consulation services and their willingness to pay for the services will also be assessed.
