Objectives
Our proposed project is a pilot study to determine whether group education and medication management services provided by pharmacists within six months can reduce the cardiovascular risks of union workers. The objectives are: 1 to develop three sixty-minute group educational programs-- 2 to develop medication management services-- and 3 to assess the impact of the six-month intervention on cardiovascular risk factors, health care utilization and patient quality of life.
