Objectives

This is an evaluation of an initiative to provide Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training to pharmacists, technicians, and students. The primary focus will be on the MFHA program by the Iowa Pharmacy Association which included 8-trainings and over 80 pharmacy professionals. We also will collaborate with NCPA to evaluate the participants that were trained by the three trainers, for which NCPA received CPF funding. We will work with the UI Center for Evaluation and Assessment to perform a rigorous evaluation of how the training was received, adopted, and enacted. We will use electronic, and if requested paper surveys to gather participant experiences for evaluation.
