CPF Announces Kelly A. Brock, PharmD, RPh as Executive Director
The Community Pharmacy Foundation (CPF) is pleased to announce Kelly A. Brock, PharmD, RPh as its new Executive Director. Prior to accepting this position, Kelly served as a consultant dedicated to advancing the profession of pharmacy and maximizing the role of pharmacists in the healthcare system. Kelly has worked with community pharmacists across the country to explore innovative ways to drive change and transform how care is delivered in the community pharmacy setting. She has experience working with thought leaders from a variety of disciplines, key stakeholders within communities and organizations, educators, researchers, and professional associations. Kelly has a strong passion for community pharmacy practice and brings tremendous enthusiasm and professional experience to this position.
“Throughout my career, I have been inspired by the work of the Community Pharmacy Foundation to advance the practice of pharmacy in the community setting,” Kelly reflected as she shares her excitement for starting her new role. Adding, “I consider it a great honor to serve as the Executive Director of the Community Pharmacy Foundation and look forward to working with the CPF Board of Directors to have a positive impact on our profession and the patients we serve.”
The CPF Board of Directors greatly appreciates the dedication of Anne Marie Kondic as the Executive Director for so many years. She played a key role in supporting CPF’s goal to foster a broader understanding of the significant value community pharmacists provide to improve patient care. Phil Burgess, CPF Board President, emphasized “we wish Anne Marie all the best in her future endeavors and we are excited to have Kelly assume her new position. As the “Face of CPF” to the pharmacy and broader healthcare community, we are enthusiastic about the leadership that she will provide.”
Kelly graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency with an Emphasis in Community Care at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. Kelly currently resides in Tustin, California with her husband, Aaron and their three children, Noah, Cameron, and Bayla.
