What's new & notable with CPF Grantees and Grants
|
|
The Board has finalized their 2016 Strategic Interests, which breaks down the larger strategic plan into two main goals and six focus areas. The Board conducted an in-depth review of the 'CPF 10 Year Analysis Report' and funded grants to assist in the process.
A record number of CPF grantee abstracts were accepted (11 total) to the APhA 2016 Annual Meeting in Baltimore, MD from March 4-7th. Of the 11 grantees, four grantees/co-investigators, Tony Olson, Geoffrey Twigg, Natalie DiPietro Mager and Chris Otting, were selected to present their research findings in the inaugural CPF Research Forum and a copy of their slides is now available -- click here.

National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA) - Pharmacist Collaborative Practice Agreement
Collaborative practice agreements (CPAs) create a formal practice relationship between pharmacists and other health care practitioners, whereby the pharmacist assumes responsibility for specific patient care functions that are otherwise beyond their typical “scope of practice,” but are aligned with their education and training. An infographic presents language recommended for inclusion in laws and regulations, as compared to language best suited for definition at the individual practitioner level.
