Announcements - what's new & notable to the CPF Community |
|
Phil Burgess - President; Randy Myers - Director; and Anne Marie (Sesti) Kondic - Executive Director attended the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Annual Meeting in National Harbor, Maryland. There was steady traffic at the exhibit booth speaking to current and future grantees. The most common question pertained to what types of grants CPF funds. The standard response was that CPF seeks new and innovative ideas that lead to sustainable, transferable and replicable community pharmacy projects to improve patient care. The application process is simplistic by design to encourage submission of all ideas. If the topic is of interest to the Board, a proposal will be invited at the next meeting. CPF also had the opportunity to speak at the Council of Deans Meeting. The presentation by Phil Burgess is available here.
